Ken Pendleton has been in the windstorm and solar business over 25 years! It all started weeks after Hurricane Andrew in 1992. A true native of Miami, his family was always prepared for hurricanes so after seeing the devastation of Andrew, Ken knew the hurricane business was about to change. He wanted to be part of saving people and their belongings from the treachery of wind storms. Ken started as an installer in 1992 and within a year was managing over 20 installation crews for Howard Shutter. In 1998 Ken received his aluminum specialty license in Dade County and started his first shutter company. Three years later, his first daughter was born and he decided to focus on the family and close the company. He spent the next 10 years at Eastern Metal Supply in research and development, training manufacturers and installers of storm products in the US and Caribbean islands. Next, Ken served as sales manager of the wind storm division at QMI Roll-a-way for 5+ years, selecting and training Rollaway dealers around the coastal United States and the Caribbean.
Ken is a Florida Certified General Contractor and decided to focus his lifetime of experience and incredible network of contractors and suppliers to provide exceptional products and service to the people of Dade, Monroe, and Broward County. He is also looking forward to helping the people of the Caribbean islands protect their homes and businesses as they rebuild from the ravages of Irma and Maria.
